Grafton Color Me Red & Blue 5K Fun Run/Walk – Saturday, April 29th!

The 5K Chairs will have a Race table in the cafeteria during all lunch blocks this week to take your 5K entry forms and payments.  Send your form and check or cash in with your student and have them visit the table to sign up.  This is a great way to get your Groups registered as the group discount cannot be done on-line.

We need more runners and walkers to make this event a success.  This is our biggest fundraiser for After Prom, so sign up and spread the word.  Make up a group of 8 or more and get a group discount.  All discounts finish on April 14th, so be sure to get your group together before then.  Below is the link to the website where you will find the entry form and sign up on-line.  However, if you want to run/walk as a group please print the entry forms and submit them with payments directly to Patti Cubstead or Tina Hoffman.  There is no option for group discount on the website.

If you don’t want to run or walk, then consider volunteering for the event.  There are plenty of stations around the course that need volunteers to throw colored powder at the runners/walkers.  There is a hospitality tent that will need volunteers to hand out bananas and granola bars, etc. as the participants complete the course as well as many other opportunities to help and NHS can earn volunteer hours.  Contact Tina or Patti for more details or click on the following link for the sign up form.

Outback Steakhouse Dinner – Monday, April 24th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Grafton High School Cafeteria – Eat In or Dine Out.

If you are a new member to the GHS PTSA, you may not be aware of the change in the way we are distributing the PTSA Member Directory this year.  Instead of printing the directory and incurring high print costs, we have made it available via the PTSA website.  Below is the link to the page:

The password you will need is: ghs2016ptsa

If you prefer to have a printed copy you are able to print it yourself once you have opened the document.  We hope you will support us in our decision to keep down our costs.
